Job Title: Intake assistant (call center)

Salary: $9/hr

Employee Type: Temporary

Location: Midlothian, Virginia

Education: Some college preferred; high school degree required

Experience: 6 months of insurance and/or medical customer service representative experience.

Required Travel: None

Relocation Covered: No

Job Description: Field telephone calls, enter information into database, perform insurance verification, and make follow-up calls to patients to obtain missing documentation.

Additional Notes: This position is Monday through Friday during the regular work day (no nights or weekends). Must have excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills, with attention to detail. Must be able to type no less than 45/wpm and be familiar with Microsoft Office programs. Individuals must have strong organizational skills and have experience working in a call center setting dealing with medical insurance.
